I have been studying at the Ateneo for about 10 years already. My first year was the greatest year for me, because fun was all around me during those days. At first it was really hard to find happiness around, but as the days passed, things already went smoothly. But this year, my second year is still fun. Coping up with the new environment is still hard for me because it is difficult to let go of all the good memories that I had when the Ateneo Highschool is still located at the La Purisima. But as what Fr. Chambers said,"If you want to have a long friendship, you should develop a short memory."
I really hate it when life is pressuring me but we should know that we should do our best for us to grow.
A Poem:
When things go wrong as they sometimes will
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh.
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns
As every one of us sometimes learns
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out:
Don't give up though the pace seems slow
You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out
The silver tints of the clouds of doubt
And you can never tell how close you are
It may be near when it seems so far.
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.
